White and chambray is one of my favorite combos!
I have been living in white jeans lately. Something about Spring makes me want to wear white all.the.time! This  chambray button-up is definitely a closet staple. I've worn it layered over dresses, tied up with shorts, and even over my swimsuit. It is so versatile and can be worn year round. These  Forever 21 wedges were such a great find. I had been on the hunt for a pair of wedges for spring when I stumbled across  these. For $28, I couldn't pass them up!

27th Birthday-Get to know me!

Today I turned 27!
For my birthday I thought it would be fun to share 27 things you might not know about me.
Let's get started...

I was born on Easter Sunday.

I love food, and basically everything I eat is my "favorite". Especially, cake! I loveeee cake!

 I got married when I was 20.

I still don't know what I want to be when I "grow up". But if you asked me 20 years ago, I would've said a CoverGirl model. Seriously, I wrote a paper on it.

I wish I was a morning person. I've tried, it just doesn't work.

When I was younger I hated long hair. My parents wouldn't let me cut it past my shoulders, so I would sneak scissors in the bathroom and cut it myself.

I have 6 tattoos.

My eyes are one of my favorite features. They change from green to a blue-green depending on what I'm wearing and I love it!

I am always late!

Grande soy chai latte with 2 pumps of vanilla at kids temp is my go-to drink.

I started wearing (trying to wear) makeup in 2nd grade. I would put on my friends makeup in school and go home looking like a clown everyday.

I know how to use power-tools and have remodeled multiple houses.

The beach is my favorite place ever. It's so relaxing listening to the palm trees blowing in the wind and waves crashing. Florida sunsets are seriously amazinggg.

My favorite movie is The Holiday.

I was homeschooled in high school. I did my homework in a bikini by the pool everyday. I had a reallyyy great tan back then.

I love naming things. If you get a new puppy or have a baby and need some help, I got you!

I buy fresh cut flowers every Sunday.

I love taking cruises. All you can eat food and total relaxation with no worries...heck yes! My favorite destination so far has been St. Thomas, USVI.

hate chipped nail polish!

My dogs are my babies. They are the lights of my life. If I could put them in a stroller and take them everywhere with me I would.
But it might look a little silly with a 65lb dog in a stroller...

My husband is the funniest person I know and can always make me laugh!

I grew up on a farm and had a pet pig, bunnies, cows and chickens.
I loved the animals but hated the farm life. I've always been a city girl.

I've never broken a bone or been pulled over.

hate math and swore I'd never need to use it in real life... I have a full time job in accounting.
Go figure.

When I was younger I was obsessed with dancing and would have dance parties in my bedroom for hours on end.

I truly believe everything happens for a reason and happens when it's supposed to, not when you want it to.

I could eat my weight in sushi and Chinese food.

Thank you so much for reading!!
27 is going to be another spectacular year with amazing memories made and goals achieved.

A little -Spring- in my step

DRESS: BB Dakota also available here & here in more sizes | HEELS: Dolce Vita (on sale 70% off!!) | BAG: Givenchy similar styles here & here | BRACELET: Jules Smith sold out similar styles here & here | NECKLACE: Baublebar (on sale) | EARRINGS: Nordstrom | LIPS: YSL-#8 Pink In Confidence

Spring is officially here!
I have been so drawn to flowy floral dresses lately, and this one from Revolve is one of my favorites. The fit and flare design and cutout back sold me on this dress. I usually lean more towards neutral colored florals or the classic black and whites, but this one just spoke to me--ya know? The print is flirty and feminine but not too overwhelming--just the right amount of color, I think. I paired it with my favorite lace-up heels (I have them in snakeskin too). This would make the perfect Easter dress and is ideal for wedding season too.
Pair it with a denim jacket and flats for a more casual look. Definitely going to get a lot of wear out of this little number!

Keeping it casual in my  New Balance sneakers.
I first laid eyes on these golden beauties last year. At the time they were completely sold out, and I thought for sure I'd missed my chance to own them. I was SOOO excited to see them back in stock and scooped them up immediately! The gold detailing makes dressing them up so easy, and they are super comfy. I love wearing them to work with a button up and even with dresses! I'm a sucker for casual style, so I opted to wear them with my favorite  Jeans, an  oversized tee, and a lazy top knot. I wore this look over the weekend running errands, and of course I had to stop and get a chai latte.

How do you like to wear your sneakers?
Casual, dressy, sporty?

Thanks for stopping by!

From Winter To Spring

TOP: H&M | CAMI: H&M (only $10!) | JEANS: Zara (old) similar style here | BOOTS: Dolce Vita - on sale 60% off! | BAG: Givenchy similar styles here & here | SUNGLASSES: Chloe | WATCH: Michael Kors | BRACELETS: Roman Empress Bangle & Latch Bangle c/o The Peach Box | NECKLACE: Bauble Bar

Spring is around the corner...
But I'm not ready to hand over all of my "winter" wardrobe just yet!
I had to take my favorite over the knee boots out for one last spin before it gets too hot. I wore this look to brunch at the Oxford Exchange--aka my favorite brunch spot in Tampa. These boots were by far my most worn shoes over the last few months. They are perfect for cold weather, and transition well into the warmer months too. They look great with dresses and long sleeve rompers. Pairing "winter" items with pastels is a great way to welcome Spring without completely ditching your cold weather favorites.

Soaking up the sun in Key Largo.
We recently turned a little work trip into a weekend getaway and spent the day in Key Largo. Our hotel was right on the marina and had a little beach overlooking the water. I spent the morning there just watching the boats go by. We grabbed brunch at The Key Largo Conch House which was beyond amazing. The restaurant was inside a Key West style house with gorgeous vaulted ceilings. It was the perfect beachy atmosphere. After that, we spent the day exploring at John Penny Camp State Park. We went kayaking for a few hours and got to see so many fish and giant stingray. It was amazing! I can't wait to go back to the Keys and spend more time exploring.

Thanks for stopping by!!
